Twitter accounts hacked for cryptocurrency fraud

The accounts of several companies and individuals on Twitter have been hacked to conduct fraudulent bitcoin transactions. Fraudsters publish cryptocurrency wallet addresses in verified accounts, offering twice as much as any payment received. Victims include Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Michael Bloomberg, as well as Apple, Uber, etc.
It all started with the hacking of Elon Musk's account, in which the first message appeared with the offer to double the payment in bitcoins by entering a special wallet. A little later, a similar message appeared on the page of Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, and even the address on the wallet was the same as before "lit" on Elon Mask's account. For some time, new fraudulent tweets appeared in each of the accounts mentioned with high frequency. Later, a representative for Bill Gates confirmed that the publications appeared as a result of an account hijacking.
Soon after the first tweets, a second wave of publications with a similar focus followed. The messages were posted on the official pages of former US President Barack Obama, US presidential candidate Joe Biden, New York billionaire and former Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, rapper Kanye West and Apple accounts and Uber.
