New Type-C 65 W PD fast charger will fully charge a MacBook Pro 13 in under two hours and costs just 99 yuan (US$14) 

Xiaomi has released a new USB Type-C 65 W PD fast charger that can be used with a diverse range of products from the Dell XPS 15 through the Nintendo Switch to the Redmi K20 Pro. Xiaomi claims the 99 yuan (US$14) product can fully charge an Apple MacBook Pro 13 in 1 h 50 m and a MacBook Pro 15 in 2 h 25 m. Xiaomi has launched yet another product recently, this time in the form of a fast charger. The new Xiaomi Type-C 65 W PD fast charger is currently priced at 99 yuan (US$14) although apparently it has been spotted selling for just 89 yuan (US$12) at some locations. The charger offers a huge compatibility range that goes way beyond Xiaomi’s own products.
As for charging times, Xiaomi claims the Type-C 65 W PD fast charger can fully charge a MacBook Pro 13 in 1 h 50 m and a MacBook Pro 15 in 2 h 25 m. Other charging feats include juicing up a Nintendo Switch in 2 h 55 m, recharging a Redmi K20 Pro in 1 h 40 m, and preparing a Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro for a full workday in just 1 h 50 m. 


The Xiaomi Type-C 65 W PD fast charger can be used with laptops from the Dell XPS line, a host of various MacBooks, some Lenovo ThinkPad devices, and even a couple of Huawei MateBooks. The full list of chargeable devices can be seen below. Xiaomi states this new 65 W PD fast charger is also 27% more compact than the company’s previous-generation fast charger.
