The Russian smartphone MIG S6 can be used in explosive environments

The Mobile Inform Group announces that the MIG S6 smartphone has been certified to comply with Customs Union technical regulations on safety of equipment for use in explosive atmospheres.
The named device refers to industrial-grade devices. The smartphone is manufactured according to the IP-68 standard: you are not afraid to watch a dip in the water at a depth of 1.2 meters. In addition, the device supports drops from a height of 1.2 meters on a concrete floor.
Depending on the version, the device is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 or Snapdragon 632 processor, 3 or 4 GB of RAM and a flash drive with a capacity of 32 to 128 GB.
The 6-inch diagonal screen has a resolution of 1440 × 720 pixels. At the front, there is a 5 megapixel camera at the rear - 13 megapixels
The 5000 mAh battery is responsible for energy. The dimensions are 162 × 82 × 14 mm, weight - 230 g
According to the test results, MIG S6 smartphones were considered suitable for use in potentially explosive areas 1 and 2, categories IIA, IIB and IIC of temperature class T4, as well as in hazardous areas for igniting combustible dust in classes 21 and 22 in environments of subgroups IIIA, IIIB and IIIC. This means that the MIG S6 industrial smartphone is suitable for use in industrial installations with a high risk of explosive atmospheres ”, said the developer.
