Google released the first version of Android 11 for TV

Today, Google released the first version of Android 11 for developers, designed for Android TV. This version of the operating system has improved privacy and performance, as well as improved connectivity. Unfortunately, the new set can only be installed on an ADT-3 device designed specifically for software development.
The way to install the latest version of the software on other Android TV devices has not yet been developed, but there is no doubt that enthusiasts will face this problem in the coming days. But the lucky owners of the ADT-3 should take into account that, after installing on an Android 11 device, the ability to revert to Android 10 is not provided. In addition, during the update process, absolutely all user data and settings will be erased.
It is reported that the search giant will share details about the new version of the operating system for TVs and set-top boxes on August 10, as part of the weekly Android series of events Beyond Phones. The Android TV 11 suite released today contains only basic features and is unlikely to be of interest to ordinary users.
