Exclusive: The first “live” photo of the ASUS ROG Phone III gaming smartphone

An image of the advertising poster for the new and as yet unannounced ASUS ROG Phone III gaming smartphone, as well as the first “live” photo of the device, appeared on the Chinese social network Weibo.
The back of the device is pictured. Looking at it, you can immediately see the RGB backlight, clearly suggesting the game character of future news. You may also notice that the ASUS ROG Phone III has a triple main camera module.
If you look closely, you can see that the camera uses Quad Bayer technology - a method of placing Bayer filters to cover not individual pixels, but cells of four photosensitive elements. At the same time, the resolution of the main sensor, which is 64 megapixels, is also indicated. Near the triple camera module, there are two LED flash modules. At the bottom of the back of the novelty, there is an inscription from Tencent Games, indicating that this instance of the device was designed for a specific company.
The published ASUS ROG Phone III advertising poster also reveals some details about its technical features. For example, the image shows that the new product has a 3.5 mm audio jack and a USB type C port. According to the MySmartPrice feature, on the left side of the device there is a side connector for connecting accessories, which is closed with a rubber plug. We were able to see a similar solution with the previous ASUS gaming smartphone model.
The poster shows that the novelty has a traditional flat screen without rounded edges and also has front stereo speakers located under the orange grilles. The volume control button is located on the right side of the smartphone.
Previously, it was reported that the device was built based on the main mobile platform Snapdragon 865 and can offer 5G support, in addition to receiving support for fast wired charging with a power of 30 W and a battery of 5800 mAh.
Today, the network also obtained information about another future smartphone from ASUS. A device code-named “asus ZF” appeared in the Geekbench database. As the source indicates, we are talking about the ASUS Zenfone 7 smartphone, whose announcement is expected next month.
