A button to install premium signed apps appeared on Google Play

Starting today, Android users can install paid apps through Google Play in two ways. They can choose a free version of the software with limited resources or install a version with full functionality, and a certain amount of money will be debited from the account every month.
The opportunity is currently only available in some applications. For example, the developers of the Truecaller service, which block scammers' calls, have agreed to try the new Google Play feature. Two buttons appeared on the application page. By clicking on “Install”, the user can download a version with limited functionality. The “Try for free” button immediately creates a trial subscription and warns you that after the trial period ends, a certain amount of money will be debited from the card account.
According to Google, this subscription approach will be useful for developers and users. There are many services in the Android app store that offer access to premium features directly from the interface. However, users do not always see a list of additional features and the cost of a subscription. After confirming the design, some cannot understand why they were charged.
Adding the “Try it free” button immediately makes it clear which features and at what price the premium subscription offers. For developers, this is beneficial, as users leave less negative comments after a sudden credit card charge. Only people who trust the need for additional resources will click this button. For everyone else, just click the “Install” button - they will receive a free version without any subscription.

"We believe that you will benefit from an increase in the number of voluntary subscribers and reduced refund requests," Google told the developers.
If, after completing the trial period, users do not like the application, they can cancel the premium access. To do this, just open the Google Play side menu and enter the “Subscriptions” section. There, you can select the installed application and cancel the trial period.
Google also promised to send users emails with a notice of the expiration of the trial period and will soon charge money from the account. When you delete a paid app, a screen will appear asking you to unsubscribe.
The new feature can really build trust between developers and users. But in some cases, fraudsters interfere in the affairs of two parties. For example, in 2019, they hacked Netflix user accounts, renewed subscriptions, and sold premium accounts to third parties. As a result, many users of the service have lost part of their money.
