The 9C and 9A models debut with a 6.53 "screen and 5000 mAh battery
Xiaomi has announced the basic smartphones Redmi 9C and Redmi 9A, which are running the Android 10 operating system with the proprietary MIUI 11 add-on (followed by an update to MIUI 12).
Both new items are equipped with a 6.53-inch HD + screen with a resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels. Dot Drop panel applied with a small cutout for the 5 megapixel front camera.
The Redmi 9C model carries the MediaTek Helio G35 processor on board: it combines eight Cortex-A53 cores with a clock frequency of up to 2.3 GHz and an IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU graphics accelerator. The device is equipped with a triple main camera, whose configuration includes sensors with 13, 5 and 2 million pixels.

Redmi 9A
The Redmi 9A, in turn, has a MediaTek Helio G25 chip: this solution contains eight Cortex-A53 cores with a frequency of up to 2.0 GHz and an IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU accelerator. At the back is a single 13-megapixel camera.
The smartphones are equipped with 2 GB of RAM LPDDR4x RAM, an eMMC 5.1 flash drive with a capacity of 32 GB, a microSD card slot, an FM tuner, 802.11b / g / n and Bluetooth 5 wireless adapters, a GPS / GLONASS receiver, one USB port Type C and 3.5 mm headphone jack. The Redmi 9C version is also equipped with a fingerprint scanner and an infrared port.
Smartphones are powered by a powerful 5000 mAh battery. The price of the Redmi 9C is $100; the Redmi 9A is around $80.
