By the end of June, sales of the huge Philips Momentum 558M1RY monitor for console games will begin, the first information about which was released last year at the international gamescom 2019 exhibition.
The panel is equipped with a 55 ”diagonal VA matrix. The resolution is 3840 × 2160 pixels (4K format), refresh rate - 120 Hz. The brightness reaches 1200 cd / m2, contrast - 4000: 1. Horizontal and vertical viewing angles - up to 178 degrees. The response time is 4 ms.
The monitor claims 95% DCI-P3 color space coverage, 104% NTSC space coverage and 125% sRGB space coverage. Talks about the DisplayHDR 1000 certification.
The Momentum 558M1RY is equipped with a high quality Bowers & Wilkins speaker system: it includes two tweeters and two mid-range speakers, plus a subwoofer. The power is 40 watts (RMS).
The panel has three HDMI 2.0 interfaces, a DisplayPort 1.4 connector and a USB 3.2 hub. There is also a standard audio jack.



The Ambiglow backlight is implemented: a special processor analyzes the received content and constantly adapts the color and brightness of the light emitted according to the image.
The MultiView system allows you to connect two signal sources at the same time, which allows you to work with multiple devices simultaneously, for example, with a desktop computer and laptop.
