The brand new robust tablet with interchangeable batteries

Panasonic announced the rugged tablet Toughbook A3: the device uses several Qualcomm hardware platforms and the Android 9.0 (Pie) operating system.
The gadget is manufactured according to MIL-STD-810H and IP65 standards. This indicates protection against moisture and dust, shock and other influences. The 10.1-inch screen has a WUXGA resolution (1920 × 1200 pixels); you can interact with this panel with gloves. The maximum brightness is 800 cd / m2.
It is based on the Snapdragon 660 processor. The chip combines eight Kryo 260 cores with a clock frequency of up to 2.2 GHz and an Adreno 512 graphics controller. The amount of RAM is 4 GB, the capacity of a flash drive is 64 GB (expandable via microSD card).



The equipment includes 802.11a / b / g / n / ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 wireless adapters, a GPS / GLONASS / Galileo / Beidou satellite navigation receiver, an NFC controller and a 4G / LTE module for working on networks cell phones. A 5 megapixel camera is installed at the front and an 8 megapixel camera at the rear.



The tablet is equipped with two removable batteries with a capacity of 3200 mAh each: the battery life is nine hours. Optionally, two 5580 mAh batteries can be installed: in this case, the operating time will increase to 15.5 hours.
The price of the Panasonic Toughbook A3 is 1470 US dollars.
