MOBVOI

TicWatch C2+ now available with a 10% introductory discount, GPS support and 1 GB RAM in tow

With a full retail price of US$210, the Wear OS-driven TicWatch C2+ comes with 1 GB of memory, GPS support, 4 GB of internal storage, but uses the rather old Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100. This smartwatch sports Google Pay support via NFC and is compatible with both Android and iOS handsets.
Mobvoi is back with a new smartwatch that runs on Google's Wear OS software platform and promises to deliver great value for a mid-range device. Obviously, this Chinese company had to make some sacrifices to keep the price low, but all the essentials such as GPS and Google Pay support via NFC are present in the Mobvoi TicWatch C2+.
While the TicWatch C2+ only uses the older Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 chipset, the amount of memory of 1 GB allows it to run everything a user can throw at it without any hiccups. The 4 GB of internal storage should be more than enough as well. The 1.3-inch AMOLED display has a resolution of just 360 x 360 pixels, but for a smartwatch, this should be more than enough. The TicWatch C2+ connects to both iOS and Android handsets via Bluetooth 4.1.
In addition to the above, we should also highlight the fact that this smartwatch is rated IP68 for protection from water and dust ingress, features a standalone GPS module, supports Google Assistant (since it has no speakers, the feedback provided by the virtual assistant is only visual), and has a battery life of around two days.
Available in Rose Gold, Onyx, and Platinum, the TicWatch C2+ can be acquired from Amazon or directly from Mobvoi. Until June 30, by using the code C2PLUS10, those interested can get 10% off the regular price of US$210.
