IdeaPad 3 (11): US$229.99 Chromebook is now shipping

The Lenovo IdeaPad 3 (11") is now shipping for US$229.99. The device, also known as the Chromebook 3 (11"), features a dual-core Gemini Lake Refresh processor, 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64 GB of storage.
Lenovo has released the IdeaPad 3 (11), also known as the Chromebook 3 (11"). Only available in black, the IdeaPad 3 (11) combines an Intel Celeron N4020 processor with an 11.6-inch TN panel that operates at 1,366 x 768 pixels and up to 250 nits. The N4020 is from Intel's Gemini Lake Refresh generation of Celeron processors. The processor has two cores and a base clock of 1.10 GHz that it can boost up to 2.80 GHz using Burst Frequency.

Unlike the IdeaPad Flex 3i, the IdeaPad 3 (11) is only available in one model. The device also includes 4 GB of LPDDR4-2400 RAM and 64 GB of eMMC flash storage. Lenovo has not disclosed whether the eMMC drive is upgradable, but it has confirmed that the RAM is soldered to the motherboard. For connectivity, Lenovo has granted the Chromebook 3 (11) support for Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 4.2. There is also a 720p webcam onboard and a 3-cell battery with a capacity of 42 Wh.
The IdeaPad 3 (11) should have more than enough ports to keep most people going, too. Essentially, the device is a cut-price IdeaPad Flex 3i with a worse display. The IdeaPad 3 (11) is shipping now for US$229.99 and includes the following hardware:
