MatePad: tablet for everything

We have already done a detailed review of the Huawei MatePad Pro - a tablet with a 10.8 inch screen, which offers great opportunities for designers and artists and can significantly replace a laptop. The next Huawei MatePad is a simplified version of MatePad Pro, which is also able to please designers, but to a lesser extent, pretends to be a universal work tool to replace a laptop.
Within the intricacies of the Huawei tablet range, it didn't take long to get confused, despite the small number of models: there is an exclusive flagship, the most powerful and “professional” MatePad Pro, there is a familiar and multimedia MediaPad M6 and the MediaPad M5 last year and last year's MediaPad M5 lite. The new member of the family, “just” MatePad, occupies its own special niche - it's half the price of MatePad Pro, but it's also cheaper and a little simpler in some ways than the MediaPad M6. It is positioned as a tablet for work and entertainment (in that order), but for those who don't need the most in all aspects.
