Mi Note 10 receives its first taste of Android 10

After months of waiting, the Mi Note 10 is finally receiving its first taste of Android 10. The update carries the version number "MIUI 11.1.1.0.QFDMIXM" and weighs a typical 2.6 GB. It's the global stable beta build, so we expect a a full rollout in the near future.
The Mi CC9 Pro—essentially the Mi Note 10 for the Chinese domestic market—received the Android 10 update a short while ago, and we expected that to be a precursor to the Mi Note 10. Well, it was, as the Mi Note 10 is now receiving the global Android 10 update.
The update comes with the version number "MIUI 11.1.1.0.QFDMIXM", denoting that it's the global software version instead of the Chinese update that rolled out to the Mi CC9 Pro with the version number "MIUI 11.1.1.0.QFDCNXM" last week.

The update weighs in at 2.6 GB and is based on MIUI 11, obviously. MIUI 12 hasn't even been launched globally. The build is the stable beta update for the global version of the phone, and is not currently available to the general public—for obvious reasons. Those who absolutely need it can install the update manually, however, by going here. Caveat emptor.
