Covid-19: The pandemic gained strength from the virology laboratory in the communist city of Wuhan

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, again criticized on Monday, 4, the way China dealt with the pandemic of coronavirus in its territory. According to the Republican, Beijing made "a terrible mistake" in responding to Covid-19 and later tried to cover up its flaws.
 This is not the first time that Trump has expressed his concerns about China's role in the origin and spread of the coronavirus. The president says he has reason to believe that the coronavirus pandemic originated in a laboratory in the city of Wuhan, where the Covid-19 outbreak began. The American did not present any evidence to confirm his suspicions.
"We are going to present a very solid report on exactly what we think happened," Trump said on Sunday in an interview with Fox News. "And I think it will be very conclusive," he added.
The Republican also said that China hid and was slow to warn about the dangers of Covid-19 ′, stating that it will not further reduce the commercial tariffs imposed on the country, even with the agreements signed before the pandemic.
Other members of the White House also raised the tone against China. "There is an enormous amount of evidence that this is where it started," Secretary of State Mike Pompeo insisted on Sunday in reference to Wuhan's virology laboratory.
Last week Trump had already threatened to impose new tariffs on Chinese products for the country's ‘fault’ in the outbreak. Beijing has repeatedly denied the charges.
The tension between the two largest economies in the world escalates at a time when more than 3.5 million people have already been infected worldwide. China, which was once the epicenter of the pandemic, today has a very low number of daily contagions. In all, the country recorded almost 84,000 cases of Covid-19 and more than 4,600 deaths.
The United States is currently the most affected country, with 1.1 million cases and more than 67,000 deaths. Over the past few months, China has moved from the Covid-19 epicenter to the first country to implement a reopening after almost two months of social isolation.
