Selena Gomez to host cooking show on HBO Max

Singer and actress Selena Gomez will attack Ana Maria Braga (host of a culinary program in Brazil) in a new series on the HBO Max platform. She will debut as a host in front of a cooking show.
Contrary to traditional cooking programs, the proposal is to place Selena not to teach, but to learn a new dish in each chapter, with the help of kitchen masters.
“I always made it very clear how much I love food. Whenever I am asked what other career I would like to have besides my own, I say that I would like to be a chef. But I don't have formal training! ”, Said Gomez in the statement announcing the production.
In the text, she even mentions that she has been cooking during the period of social isolation against the new coronavirus.
"Like many of us, I am cooking a lot more now that I need to stay home all the time," he revealed.
The program also aims to help people vary menus during the quarantine period, and must address cuisines from different parts of the world, without hiding the many inconveniences that happen when cooking at home.
Each episode will also highlight a charity that is helping to feed the poorest people during the pandemic.
The program does not yet have an official title or expected release. But it will feature ten episodes made available by WarnerMedia's upcoming streaming service, scheduled to open on May 27 in the U.S.
