Elon Musk makes a joke of the director of the Russian Space Agency 

''The springboard works'', said this Sunday Elon Musk, founder of SpaceX, a company that sent two astronauts into space on Saturday, in response to the director of the Russian Space Agency who had ridiculed the American inability to realize manned space flights.
In a period of tension between the two countries, and when Moscow threatened to interrupt space cooperation with Washington, Dmitri Rogozin stated in 2014 that American astronauts might need a "springboard" to get to the International Space Station (ISS).
"The trampoline works," Musk celebrated this Sunday, during a news conference alongside Nasa Administrator Jim Bridenstine, after the successful launch of a SpaceX rocket.
"It's a joke between US," completed the 48-year-old businessman, while the two smiled.
The reference provoked reactions in Russian social networks, with many "memes" and jokes ridiculing Rogozin.
After the flight of the American private group SpaceX, Russia is no longer the only one to send astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS). The loss of the monopoly will force the country to reshape its space program, analysts say.
