Galaxy Book S introduction: Intel Lakefield chip, Wi-Fi 6 and LTE

The company Samsung Electronics officially launched today, May 29, the Galaxy Book S laptop, whose preparation was reported about a week and a half ago. The novelty became the first laptop on the Intel Lakefield hardware platform.
As mentioned earlier, the device is equipped with a 13.3-inch Full HD screen with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels. Touch control support implemented.
Samsung did not name the processor model used, but previously it was reported on the use of the Core i5-L16G7 chip, combining four low-power cores with Tremont architecture and a productive core from Sunny Cove.
It has become known that the LTE modem (Cat 16) is included in the equipment of the new product, thanks to which users can connect to the Internet whenever there is cellular network coverage. In addition, there are Wi-Fi 6 (Gig +) 802.11ax 2 × 2 and Bluetooth 5.0 wireless adapters.
The laptop received 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, an eUFS flash drive with 256/512 GB capacity, a microSD slot, a 1 megapixel camera, an AKG audio system with four speakers, a fingerprint scanner, a sensor ambient light, a backlit keyboard and two USB Type-C ports. A battery with a capacity of 42 Wh is responsible for energy. The dimensions are 305.2 × 203.2 × 6.2–11.8 mm, weight - 950 g.
The computer is running Windows 10 (Home or Pro). The device is available in Earthy Gold and Mercury Gray colors.
