APPLE

Apple glasses can offer vision correction, but at an additional cost front page

The presenter and informant Jon Prosser shared some of the expected details about Apple's augmented reality glasses, including the marketing name Apple Glass, starting price of $499, Lens support for vision correction, and more.

Therefore, the following details are reported:
the device will be released on the market under the name Apple Glass;
the cost will start at $ 499, with the possibility of buying prescription lenses for an additional fee;
on both lenses there will be displays with which you can interact with gestures;
Glasses
they will not be independent and are created with the aim of working together with the iPhone, similar to the early hours of the Apple Watch;
The initial prototype had wireless handling and charging; initially, Apple planned to present points at its autumn event with the launch of the iPhone 2020 under the famous phrase “One More Thing,” spoken by Steve Jobs in presentations – because of the pandemic, the announcement had to be postponed to March 2021;

Apple is about to launch the device on the market in late 2021 or early 2022.
There are also rumors that Apple is working on a more traditional AR / VR headset that resembles Facebook's Oculus Quest, and in previous rumors it was assumed that the headset would be released before the glasses appeared. Earlier this year, a release leak of iOS 14 revealed a new app, called Gobi, which Apple seems to be using to test new augmented reality devices.
Prosser also said that the presentation of the iPhone this year could take place in October, and not in September, as usual, due to the global health crisis. Numerous analysts, including Ming-Chi Kuo and Jeff Pu, also pointed out that the most advanced model – the 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max - may not be available until October due to supply chain disruptions.
