Curie cabo submarinoGoogle finalizes the installation of the sumarine cable between the US and Chile

Google has announced the completion of the construction of its private submarine cable. Named Curie, The Project is the third announced by the company, and connects the United States and Chile in 10,500 kilometers, offering the capacity of 72 Tbps from the second half of 2020.
When announcing that the project was ready, Google also took the opportunity to tell Curie that Curie will win a branch in Panama. "As soon as it is ready, that branch is going to increase the bandwidth and the connectivity to Central America," said the company, which promises to improve your ability to connect to other networks in the region.At the branch office in Panama, there will again be a partner of Google's, with a SubCom, a company of the engineer responsible for the production of some of the cables.
Two more private cables are still in development, one connecting the United States to Europe and the other Portugal to South Africa.
