MOTOROLA

Brand wants you to ‘Feel the Flip’ in its latest Motorola Razr commercial

After seeing multiple foldable designs that transformed a smartphone into a tablet, Motorola has brought a unique flip phone foldable, the Motorola Razr, to the market. The Razr gets its design inspiration from the best-selling Moto Razr v3, which sold millions of units worldwide all thanks to its iconic flip form factor.
In the company’s latest video commercial, Motorola shows us how the original Moto Razr has transformed into the new Razr foldable. The video pays special attention to the cool new hinge design that allows the flexible screen to open up to 180 degrees without any visible creases or marks.
Just like other foldables, the Motorola Razr comes with two screens, a primary Flex view P-OLED display of 6.2-inches and a secondary OLED screen upfront of 2.7-inches. Given its super small 2510mAh battery, it’s probably a good idea to use the OLED screen on the front for most features.
The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 710 mid-range processor with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone runs on a near-stock version of Android 9 Pie. Below the secondary screen on the front, the Razr features a 16MP f/1.7 aperture camera, while there’s a 5MP shooter on top of the flexible screen.
The Motorola Razr will ship next year in January 2020.
