Pixelbook Go leaks in full glory ahead of Oct 15 Launch

Google is about to launch a wide variety of products at its upcoming "Made By Google" event which is scheduled for the 15th of October. However, it is having a hard time to keep them under wraps. Both the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL have leaked on several instances, extensively revealing their design and specifications.
Now the Pixelbook Go which is supposed to be unveiled at the same event has come out in the open revealing its design, features and specifications. Right off the bat, the ultrabook / laptop draws a lot of inspiration from Apple's MacBook with a couple of distinctive elements.
While Apple's MacBook runs on macOS which is full-fledged desktop-grade operating system, the Pixelbook Go runs on ChromeOS which is considerably lightweight OS and is designed for running web applications. Due to cross-compatibility with Android, users can download a wide variety of applications from the Play Store on their Pixelbook which is another advantage of the OS.

Returning to the design of the Pixelbook GO, it features a well-spaced island-style keyboard which is flanked by loudspeakers on either side. Above the keyboard is where the Pixelbook branding will be placed while below the keyboard, we have a wide glass trackpad that supports multi-touch gestures.
The Pixelbook Go has a ribbed back which not only looks elegant but also provides a sturdy grip. In terms of ports, the Chromebook features a 3.5mm headphone jack and two USB C ports which are expected to both support charging and video-out functionality.
The device is equipped with a 13.3-inch touchscreen display with 16: 9 aspect ration and customers will be able to choose between a Full HD or 4K “Molecular Display”. It features a 2 MP front-facing camera which also supports 1080p video at 60 fps.

In terms of process, the customers can configure the Pixelbook Go with one out of three options which include Intel Core m3, i5, or i7. In terms of memory or storage, users can choose from 8 GB or 16 GB of RAM and 64GB, 128GB, or 256GB of ROM. Besides, the Chromebook will also be equipped with Titan C chip which will be used to safely store sensitive user data like passwords.
It will be offered in two color options which include “Just Black” and “Not Pink”. All in all, this seems like a worthy laptop for users who mostly work within a web browser. Besides, the wide selection of applications from the Play Store will keep the rest covered.

In order to confirm the leaks and get information like its price and availability detail, we will have to wait until its official launch date. As previously mentioned, it will be announced alongside the Pixel 4 smartphones and Pixel Watch on the 15th of October.
