PUMA

IFA 2019-Brand partners with Fossil for first Wear OS smartwatch

Puma has launched its first Wear OS powered smartwatch. The famous sporting brand partnered with watch maker Fossil to bring the device to market.
Puma has launched smartwatches in the past, but it has just launched its first Google Wear OS powered device. The new device was made in partnership with Fossil and comes in three color options: black, yellow and rose gold. Naturally, as you would expect for a sporting company, the device is targeted directly at the fitness market.
The Puma Gen 4 Smartwatch, as it is officially known, is fitted with Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon Wear 3100 matched with 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of onboard storage for tunes.

It centers on a 1.19-inch circular OLED display enclosed in a 44mm case made from a combination of nylon and aluminum with a focus on reducing weight. The company succeeded as it weighs in at just 0.06 pounds made possible by some strategic cutouts in the chassis.
The Puma Gen 4 Smartwatch will retail for $ 275 when it hits the market in November.
