Worldwide, 5.1 billion people use a mobile device, according to GSMA's Mobile Economy 2019 report.
The figure is high and represents 67% of the human population. On the other hand, growth is slowing and is expected to be at 1.9% over the next few years.
By 2025, according to a study cited by Agência Brasil, the number of people with cell phones is expected to rise to 5.8 billion, or 71% of the population expected for the same year.
