Brand now rumored to join the round-camera phone brigade soon

A new OnePlus phone will have cameras that are found in a single, circular module on the back of the phone. At least this is what new renders from OnLeaks / PriceBaba indicate. These leakers speculate that the device in question will be the 7T, and thus will launch in mere months.
OnePlus is now thinking to embrace the emerging round-camera trend in rumored or upcoming 2019 phones. The first of these is projected to be the Huawei Mate 30 series, to be followed by what may be called the Nokia 6.2 and 7.2. Now, OnLeaks and PriceBaba have released their latest renders for what they assert is the successor to last year's 6T.
It has to be said that the use of large circular camera pores on mobile devices is not exactly a new thing: Motorola and the Lumia series had been doing it for years, after all. However, this new iteration of the design choice is of potential interest due to the number of sensors these round modules may house. For example, the "7T" renders clearly accommodating 3. They are separated by triangular inserts in the leakers' images.
These renders echo earlier leaks that also pointed to a large round camera insert for a future OnePlus phone. They have been shared by further famous tipsters, Evan Blass and Ishan Agarwal, over the last 9 months. In other news, this OEM is also now linked to a second McLaren-themed special-edition phone. This generation may commemorate the late Formula 1 hero Ayrton Senna.
