"It's getting harder to know where we end up and the computer starts"
We are increasingly dependent on smartphones, whether to carry out daily tasks or to store useful information such as names, phone numbers, directions and even to communicate.
In a sense, these mobile devices act as extensions of our own body and that is what leads Professor Yuval Noah Harari of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem to predict that in the future it will be difficult to know where the human being ends and the computer starts.
"In the future, it's likely that the smartphone is not entirely separate from you. It can be integrated into your body or brain, constantly reviewing your biometric data and emotions, "Harari explained at a conference at Fast Company's European Innovation Festival.
"Humanity has remained constant - with the same bodies, brains and minds. If we told our Stone Age ancestors about our life today, they would have thought we were gods, "said the teacher according to the Mirror. Miguel Dias
