'La Casa de Papel' lavishes force on his return

While preparing a new blow with the band of robbers, the Professor shows them pictures of people in different places of the world wearing red overalls and mask of Salvador Dalí as symbols of resistance, to fight against indignation. Pictures of huge posters on football stadiums with their masks. "We inspire a lot of people in their struggle. All these people are already ours. Do not forget, "says Professor. The international resonance of La Casa de Papel shows its reflection at the beginning of a new season that Netflix opens on the 19th and arrives as a punch on the table of Spanish television fiction that will resonate around the world.
Because when there are resources, time and talent (and always a little luck), products are created to turn into successes. Judging by the first two episodes of the eight that make up the new season, La Casa de Papel has a good chance of repeating the world-wide outbreak that were the first two seasons. They had at the time less resources and less time, but the talent was there, and that bit of luck that is always needed appeared after their passage on the Antena 3 channel, with their trip to Netflix. The strong iconography and the good adaptation to the television marathon of the online platforms did the rest.
Reopening a story that is already closed always causes doubts. La Casa de Papel dispels them quickly in a first episode that lavishes force. In just 50 minutes they go through the screen rentals in Panama, Thailand, Italy and different points in Spain. He also recovers all the main characters, who gather to try to rescue Rio, who was arrested, and perfectly justifies the participation of Berlin in the new episodes. Everything is bigger, but it does not lose the essence of La Casa de Papel and its strong support in the characters. So this chapter, although it has more action, has more emotion. And so you get what you are looking for: you want to feel more. If in some cases the passage of the 70 minutes of the Spanish television opened at 50 of the international format has caused some misalignments (an excessive agony in Vis a Vis and the loss of identity and focus in Velvet Colección), this time the smaller duration falls very well in a story that, with a few minutes of explanation, soon goes to the heart of the matter and in the second episode is already underway the plan for the theft of the Bank of Spain. This was advanced by the creator, Alex Pina, in a screening of the first chapter to a small group of journalists: "We will tell what we need to tell and we will do it in the shortest possible time."
On the incorporations in the cast, in the first two episodes already it is possible to see in action Palermo, interpreted by the Argentine Rodrigo de la Serna, a kind of new Berlin in relation to the charisma and attitude. Also appears the merciless and pregnant police officer interpreted by Najwa Nimri. The two fit nicely in the picture painted on a script mounted on five temporal lines that overlap and compels the viewer to pay attention to the screen.
La Casa de Papel comes back in style, raising the banner of entertainment as high as possible, true to itself and seated in its virtues to try to satisfy the millions of eyes of the whole world that are now on it. May the fun continue. Source: elpais.com
