Maioria dos jogadores passa por "assédio intenso", diz estudoMost players go through "intense harassment," study says

It is increasingly common to discuss the toxic environment that is felt among the community of video game fans, especially those who interact through digital platforms. Now, an Anti-Defamation League poll gives good reason to be concerned as it points out that players are subject to "intense harassment" when playing online.
According to the study, many players experience “physical threats, persecution and sustained harassment”, with 53% indicating that harassment targets “race, religion, ability, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation or ethnicity” and 38% of women reporting being harassed simply for being women. The study involved 1,045 people between 18 and 45 years old.
The study paints a 'blackboard' with regard to online player interactions but there are also some positive 'strokes', with 88% pointing to positive experiences and 51% saying they made friends online. Miguel Dias
