Company prepares 'revolution' in iPhone design in 2020
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo became known for his plausible predictions related to Apple and the latest back to arouse curiosity. In a note sent to investors, Kuo points out that Apple intends to reduce the iPhone's screen frame, planned to launch a full-screen smartphone on the front face in 2020.
One of the consequences of this increase in screen size may be the removal of Face ID facial recognition system, which is currently integrated into the notch at the top of the screen of iPhones.
This removal can be accompanied by a new bet on the fingerprint sensor Touch ID, which will appear integrated in the screen of the next iPones. Kuo indicates that the change from Face ID to Touch ID may occur in 2021.
The possibility that Apple launches iPhones with a screen to occupy the entire front face is plausible, even because other manufacturers already have devices with this type of design. Miguel Dias
