Huawei gets another blow, this time in Japan
Japanese group SoftBank has decided to exclude Huawei from the 5G network infrastructure in its telecommunications companies, making a decision to use Nokia and Ericsson, the South China Morning Post says.
Along with the United States, Japan has been one of the countries with more reservations in adopting the equipment with security risks, avoiding here to 'point the finger' to the Chinese Huawei. SoftBank is not alone in this position, with the other Japanese telecom operators - NTT Docomo and KDDI - also having decided to exclude Huawei.
It is not just Huawei's 5G network that has been excluded from Japanese territory, since these same companies are also eliminating plans to sell smartphones from the Chinea company. Miguel Dias
