Uber passengers will be expelled from the app for bad behavior
Uber has announced that it will begin deactivating user accounts if they present below-average ratings, a measure that will be implemented to encourage good behavior on the part of passengers.
The measure was announced by a Uber executive named Kate Parker who on the company's blog explained how it will be integrated into the service.
"Passengers may lose access to Uber if they develop a significantly below average rating. Passengers will receive tips on how to improve their ratings, such as encouraging well-behaved behavior, avoiding garbage in the vehicle, and avoid requiring drivers to drive above the limit. Passengers will have several opportunities to improve their ratings before they lose access to Uber apps, "Parker writes.
As The Verge notes, many Uber passengers ignore the fact that the drivers of the service evaluated them the same way they are evaluated at the end of each trip. However, the appraisal of the passengers is never revealed by the app and neither Uber says what is the average rating that passengers should take into account.
In the end, Uber's goal is to provide a service that is as enjoyable and enjoyable for both drivers and passengers, so it makes sense that both are subject to the same guidelines. Miguel Dias
