Instagram will block hashtags that promote vaccine misinformation

It is no coincidence that the World Health Organization has warned of the surge in disease outbreaks in advanced countries because of the spreading of false information against vaccines.
Explains the British television network that the platform Instagram will block in concrete hashtags like #vaccinescauseautism, #vaccinescauseaids and #vaccinesarepoison, respectively hashtags that say vaccines cause autism and AIDS and are poison.
There are, however, other less obvious but potentially similar hashtags that Instagram will be studying and considering blocking. Among these is # vaccines1234, hashtag used by groups and users that promote disinformation regarding vaccines.
Sharing content with the hashtags in question will not lead to the exclusion of the social network. Instagram explains that it will not ban accounts that share disinformation content about vaccination. Miguel Dias
