The future of one of the biggest rivals of 'Fortnite', 'Apex Legends', seems to be assured after Electronic Arts (EA) confirm that it is in "advanced negotiations to launch the game in China in mobile."
This means that the game will be available not only on more platforms beyond the PC and consoles, but also in one of the most valuable mobile markets with the highest growth potential. "We are very excited about the future of Apex Legends," EA said in an interview with investors.
'Fortnite' and 'PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds' have already become the two main proposals within the genre 'battle royale', enjoying special popularity in the Asian continent. The success of 'Apex Legends' will depend primarily on the ability of EA and Respawn Entertainment to launch content and news at a pace that encourages players to stay connected. Miguel Dias
