Ecrã partido. Galaxy Fold não resiste aos primeiros dias de usoGalaxy Fold Folding Screen Fails
Members of the specialized press were the first to receive units from Samsung's Galaxy Fold, giving them the opportunity to thoroughly analyze the South Korean technology's foldable screen smartphone. Well, it seems that the Galaxy Fold did not withstand the first few days of experimentation and the multi-unit screen broke.
The images have been shared on social networks and do not pay in favor of the first Samsung foldable screen smartphone which, it is remembered, is the first to inaugurate the category. "My Galaxy Fold screen for review was completely broken and unusable in just two days," Mark Gurman of Bloomberg complained on Twitter (below).
The problem seems to be that Gurman removed what at first appeared to be a protective plastic, which Samsung had warned not to be removed. "It looked removable in the upper left corner so I took it off. I think it contributed to the problem, "Gurman said. Youtuber Marques Brownlee reported the same situation, saying he tried to remove this 'protective plastic' for not seeing any warning.
Samsung has already reacted through a statement explaining the situation:
"A limited number of Galaxy Fold samples were provided for media analysis. We received some reports on the home screen in the samples provided. We will make a thorough inspection of these units to determine the cause of the issue. Separately, some experts reported having removed the layer at the top of the screen and caused damage to the screen. The Galaxy Fold main screen has a protective layer, which is part of the screen structure designed to protect the screen from accidental hazards. Removing this protective layer or adding stickers to the main screen will cause damage. We will ensure that this information is clearly passed on to our customers." Miguel Dias
