Mark penalizes contributors for leaking smartphones

The OPPO Reno is one of the most talked about phones in China in recent times even though it is yet to launch. Thanks to a leak that revealed the phone will come with an unusual selfie camera design, the phone has even become more popular. However, in a surprising turn of events, OPPO is taking legal action against the original source of the leak.
Today, an internal memo from OPPO detailing the sanctions that should be carried out against those involved in the leak was shared on the web.
The memo says the original source of the leak will pay CNY 500,000 (~ $ 74,368). It is also requesting for a full report about the incident and a promise not to spread details about new products. OPPO also requests legal actions to be taken against the dealers and clerk of the store that shared the info in the first place.
The OPPO Reno is already available for pre-order ahead of its official release on April 10. G. C.
