X71 launch in China, tomorrow
The Nokia X71 launched last week in Taiwan as the first Nokia phone with a punch hole display. HMD Global Oy is now set to launch the phone in Mainland China tomorrow.
The phone which shares some similarities with the Nokia 7 Plus (black + copper color variant, Snapdragon 660 processor) is also the first Nokia phone with triple rear cameras. The official Nokia Mobile China account has been dropping teasers of the phone in the past couple of days before confirming today the phone will be unveiled in China on April 8.
The Nokia X71 has a 6.39-inch PureView display with an FHD + resolution and a 19.3: 9 aspect ratio. HMD Global says it has a screen-to-body ratio of 93% but did not state the diameter of the punch hole. The hole in the display is on the left just like that of the Honor View 20.
The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 660 and is paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage with support for storage expansion. The rear is home to a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP wide-angle camera, and a 5MP camera for depth of field. The front-facing camera is a 16MP f / 2.0 sensor. There is a fingerprint scanner on the back of the phone.
The Nokia X71 supports Bluetooth 5.0, Dual SIM Dual Standby, and runs Android 9 Foot. It has a 3500mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. It also has a USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, and a notification LED integrated into the power button. The phone comes in a single color variant - Eclipse Blac. G. C.
