VOLVO

Company has the solution to prevent you from driving drunk.
Volvo has revealed that it plans to equip the interior of its vehicles with cameras and sensors to prevent its customers from driving drunk and undisturbed. If the driver does not respond to certain signals, the car may even slow down and park automatically by contacting Volvo's call center.
But how can Volvo cars be able to detect problems with the driver? Cameras and sensors will be alert to certain signs, particularly if the driver keeps his eyes closed for too long, takes his eyes off the road frequently, exhibits too slow reaction time or does not accelerate or lock for extended periods of time. This monitoring leads to certain questions about privacy protection, a conversation that Volvo wants to have in order to ensure that car manufacturers do their part to protect drivers' lives. The Swedish manufacturer plans to start installing these cameras and sensors from 2020.
