TikTok is considered by many to be the app of the moment and is especially popular with the younger generation. This reality causes the app to be targeted undesirably - especially pedophiles and sexual predators - and has even been awarded a fine of USD 5.7 million (US $ 5 million) applied by the US Federal Trade Commission .
This fine and the torrent of criticism that has come to TikTok have made the people responsible for the app announce that an additional effort will be made to protect youngsters from sensitive content, TechTudo points out.
For now, it is confirmed by TikTok the launch of new tools that create more assertive protections that allow to identify and report risk situations with greater speed. Limitations will also be imposed on the interaction between users. Miguel Dias
