A crash of high severity in Google Chrome has led the Mountain View technology to issue an alert for the need to update the Internet browser. So, if you are a Chrome user, you should make sure that the version you have installed is the version that was released on March 1st at 72.0.3626.121.
You can make sure you have this version installed through Chrome settings or by going directly to this area by copying and pasting "chrome: // settings / help" into your browser's endorsement bar.
But what is this vulnerability after all? Google has sought to keep the technical details to itself but, according to the G1, that the failure allows sites to install malicious software on visitors' computers. It is not known however, what is the process used to accomplish this 'infection'.
