Server 2019: announced the new capabilities at the Embedded World

Microsoft is using Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine learning, and robotics is now being used to power your smart devices. With the help of the Internet of Things (IoT), easier and secure devices are being built. As part of its effort to further simplify IoT, Microsoft has announced new products and services that will help developers, manufacturers, customers, and solution developers.
Windows Server IoT 2019
At the Embedded World in Nuremberg, Microsoft announced the release of Windows Server IoT 2019. The Windows server will allow operating systems to develop solutions for everyone. You can develop solutions for servers as well as low-power devices and anything in between them. the full power of Windows is now being introduced to IoT devices.
The Windows Server includes smart edge devices, small-footprint, and Windows 10 IoT Enterprise. Developers can now build IoT devices that have high storage capacity and scale between cloud and edge. The Windows Server IoT 2019 is exclusive to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and businesses only. The server has mainstream support of 5 years and additional support of another 5 years.
New Windows 10 IoT Innovation
Apart from this, there are other Windows 10 features that have been introduced by Microsoft. This will help the developers to perform their job with ease. One such new capability that the company has introduced is the Azure IoT Edge for windows. Through this developers will be able to deploy their IoT solutions across edge or cloud through a managed service.
Another change is the introduction of Azure IoT device agent for Windows. Through the agent, people can easily monitor, configure, or manage their IoT devices remotely with the Azure dashboard. Developers can now also build the Robot Operating System (ROS) for Windows.


Microsoft Continues its Connection with Silicon Providers
Microsoft announced that it has strengthened its partnership with NXP by announcing public preview of Windows 10 IoT core. The tech giant also continued its partnership with Qualcomm to get the power of Snapdragon processors. Umang Chauhan
