 The internet and the YouTube platform are an essential complement to current learning, especially supporting self-taught people who are looking for information online. The Justin Guitar website is a dream for any acoustic guitar enthusiast who likes to learn to play but has no resources or way to pay for lessons.
Author Justin Sandercoe has started teaching guitar online since 2001, and since 2006 he has been feeding a YouTube channel with hands-on lessons that are organized on the website. But rather than teaching how to do it, by directly observing the strumming on the strings of the video instrument, the project offers complete courses, tools for ear training or time calculation, for example. It also teaches writing songs or tuning guitars.
The website has diverse content around the guitar theme, with podcasts, live streams and even recommendations from great guitar players such as Mark Knopfler, Brian May and Steve Vai.
