The camera is nowadays considered one of the most important elements in a smartphone, something especially notorious in the top of the range. Exposure, contrast, depth effect and other details are all taken into account when choosing a smartphone but, unsurprisingly, this is not what happens.
The brand is often what weighs most when it comes to choosing a top-of-the-range smartphone, with device holders to defend it with 'tooth and nail' and to display it as being the best in its class. But what happens when you do not know the brand of the device responsible for capturing a photo?
This is the basic idea of ​​the test blinded by Marques Brownlee, youtuber who returns to launch this year the challenge to his followers. Instead of making a previous selection, this year Brownlee decided to create a clash between 16 smartphones and let their followers vote on social networking sites (Twitter and Instagram) in the photos they consider to have better quality.Given that these socialnetworks make compression of the photographs, it is natural that some of them may not be displayed with their respective quality, with the participants simply voting on the photographs that they thought were the best.The goal is to have as unbiased opinions as possible, looking for smartphone enthusiasts to set aside their favorite brands for objectivity.
