Prediction. One of the most popular iPhones may return in 2019
It is no secret to anyone that smartphone screens have been increasing in recent years, becoming a trend that is not well seen by all. The fact that it is now only possible to find big-screen smartphones leads to a gap in the smartphone market and one that leads Apple fans to 'beg' for a new iPhone SE.
The original iPhone SE was released in 2016 and at the time ended up attracting attention with its classic design and 4-inch screen. With the iPhone Xs, Xs Max and Xr Apple made the decision to discontinue the iPhone SE (among other models), which led to several criticisms of the company's followers related to lack of diversity in the smartphone catalog.
This is one of the reasons that leads the MacWorld website to predict that Apple will launch an iPhone SE 2 in 2019, maybe for the spring. The prediction also points out that the device may have an evocative design of the iPhone X and, perhaps, the face recognition system Face ID.
For now it is only a forecast and, although many wanted it to become reality as soon as possible, we will have to wait for news from Apple itself. Miguel Dias
