EM-SCULPT
Make abdominal without moving
"Steroids but without the rage." That's how plastic surgeon Ryan Neinstein describes to Bloomberg the EMSculpt machine, its creation that promises defined abs without making a single abdominal. The machine already has the approval of the FDA, a US regulator linked to the consumer sector, but is not properly for sale. It is a service that is available in that surgeon's office and does not come cheap: the treatment works in four consultations that have a cost of three thousand dollars (2600 euros). There are other clinics in the United States already interested in the device, namely in Seattle, Washington State, and Portsmouth, New Hampshire.EMSculpt achieves results by sending high-intensity electromagnetic waves, which cause intense contractions in selected areas. It is not painful, but it can be uncomfortable, but it does not leave the body sore.It is still only able to treat the abs and glutes, only.Still, according to Bloomberg, a clinical study done with 22 machine users showed that an average of 20% of body fat and 15% of muscle growth in the stomach and buttocks were lost.
