Uber electric scooters have arrived in the US

Electric scooters are taking over as a new way for city dwellers to circle the metropolitan centers and, not wanting to miss an opportunity to adapt, Uber wants to be a part of this 'movement'.
The city of Santa Monica, in the state of California, was the first to receive these Uber scooters, says The Verge. Those interested in using them can unlock them through the Uber app, which costs $ 1 and then 15 cents per minute.
In total, Uber is allowed by the city to operate 250 electric scooters, in what is understood as a first test before taking the program to other markets.
