At the end of last night YouTube users saw the video platform become inaccessible, in what is understood as a rare occasion when it was down. Although it is a situation that has led to criticism of Google, it is more than certain that it had happy endings.
As the PornHub porn site shows, it saw an increase in traffic during the period that YouTube was down. In the 'climax', PornHub had an increase of 21%. Coincidentally, the site saw a period of lower than normal traffic once YouTube was restored.

PornHub also unveiled a list of the most sought-after video categories, with "asmr" having increased by 201%, "youtube" by 183% and "roleplay" by 177%.
