SONY

PlayStation Classic will arrive in December with 20 games installed

With the success of the launch of NES and SNES in a classic special format, the other manufacturers want to capitalize on the nostalgia of players with versions of their own old school platforms. Sega released a version of its Mega Drive, fans of the Commodore 64 and Spectrum also received new hardware with classic games. Now it was Sony to resurrect PlayStation, its first console with the main titles that made the story of the platform.

The PlayStation Classic arrives on December 3 for 99 euros and comes with 20 pre-installed games. The console is 45% smaller than the original system and uses a virtual memory card to record the progress of the games.
So you can enjoy some games with friends, the set offers two commands, replicas of the first versions before the introduction of analog. The console has HDMI output for playing on modern TVs, but power via USB is for the users' account.
Although it is a faithful replica, it will not be possible to use CDs to run the games, and in that sense, the "Open" button, which opened the door to the disc, is used to change the title. The "Reset" button on the other hand, puts the games into sleep mode.
