SSD de 4 TB de 2,5 polegadas da Samsung chega ao mercado até final do ano
Brand 4-inch 2.5-inch SSD hits the market by year's end

Announced in February, Samsung's new generation of Solid State Drives (SSDs) are already being mass-produced and will hit the market by the end of the year, the maker said in a statement. The company claims to be the first 4-bit 4 TB SSD SATA with a view to the consumer market. The brand plans to release capacity versions of 1 TB, 2 TB and 4 TB in the customarily used 2.5-inch.Samsung said its new 1 TB V-NAND 4-bit chip aims to establish a new level of consumer SSD efficiency. In this way, the brand intends to give a boost to the market, so that more offers of 4-bit SSD models of one or more TB will emerge. The manufacturer says it will be able to efficiently produce a 128GB memory card for smartphones using this technology. The technology giant explains that the brand's 4-bit 4-bit SATA QLC SATA SSD maintains performance levels at the same level as a 3-bit SSD using a 3-bit controller and TurboWrite technology while increasing capacity of the drive through 32 chips. And this is based on a fourth generation 64-layer V-NAND 1 TB.So far, as the information stored in a memory cell increased from three to four bits, the capacity of the chip per unit increases, but the electric charge decreases up to 50%, making performance and speed of devices difficult.
