Brand presents the new V40 ThinQ on October 3

LG will introduce the new V40 ThinQ on October 3. The brand sent press releases with a reference to the photographic capabilities of the equipment, underlining the expression "take five". Rumors pointing to the existence of five cameras on the smartphone are not many, but there is unofficial information that this model will have a triple rear camera, and two front cameras. In addition, the device should have a notch display, a Snapdragon 845 processor, which has equipped most of the Android flagships, Google Assistant and other traditional features of LG's superior range.The cameras should work just the way they work on the Huawei P20 Pro, with the front ones to power a facial recognition system, and the rear ones to allow special modes such as portrait and optical zoom.For LG, the issue should be linked to demand, since the brand has not been especially successful when it comes to selling smartphones. 



The company's strategy also seems to be broken, as the technology announced earlier this year that it would re-launch high-end phones only when it deemed it necessary and when the market presented a void that represented an opportunity for the brand. However, just this year, LG has already released the ThinQ G7, the ThinQ V30 and the ThinQ V35. The V40 will be the third top of the line line to join this portfolio. Given the offer, the South Korean giant will certainly have difficulties convincing the market that this smartphone represents a substantial improvement, and the exercise will certainly be more difficult when the comparison term is the competition, once the smartphone market top of range is more consistent than ever.
