China quer meter Apple na 'linha'

China wants to put Apple in the 'line'

Apple is not being seen well in China, specifically by at least five media companies that accuse Cupertino technology of allowing on its platforms prohibited content such as pornography, gambling and smuggled items.
Apple is thus accused of not monitoring its App Store with due attention and not filtering properly the iMessage messages, according to The Wall Street Journal. Allegedly, Chinese iPhone users will have been bombarded with spam messages related to gambling and, given that the messaging app is encrypted, Apple has no way of doing so.
If it continues to be criticized for the same reasons there is a risk that Apple's targeted platforms will be banned in China, something that would have consequences in the valuation of the company.
