Brand Introduces Xperia ZX3 with Android Pie
During the Sony conference, mobile division president Mitsuya Kishida unveiled the Xperia ZX3, its new high-end smartphone, which will be one of the first devices powered by the new Android Pie operating system.
The new model has a 6-inch screen, slightly larger than the XZ2, which was 5.7 inches. The size is reflected in a substantial increase of the resolution, now presenting 2880x1440, against the 2160x1080 of the previous version. The equipment also switches the LCD screen in Full HD to a Quad HD OLED system. This is the first time that Sony launches a smartphone with OLED technology, inspired by its televisions of the Bravia line. In addition to greater energy efficiency, the device gains images with more vibrant colors and better contrasts.
Inside, the equipment maintains the same hardware settings. It will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, an Adreno 630 graphics card, as well as 64GB storage options, expandable via microSD cards and 4GB of RAM. But the battery will have more autonomy, with 3,330 mAh compared to the 3,180 mAh of the ZX2.
The smartphone will have a rear camera of 19 MP and a front for selfies of 13 MP and like the previous, will allow to record videos to 4K. The new user interface and side sensor with artificial intelligence will allow easier navigation when using only one hand. Tapping twice in any area of the screen will launch the launcher app which predicts which applications the user should need and their settings based on their usage, time of day, location, frequency of use.The Xperia ZX3 hits the market in September and will cost about $ 900, more than the previous model. As an incentive to purchase, those who pre-order the equipment receive a digital version of Call of Duty: Black Ops.Sapo
